Strives toward your own optimal physical, mental, emotional, spiritual health, and possesses self-pride,
Is involved in healthy and nurturing relationships and considers yourself as part of a family,
Is formally educated beyond high school,
Is established in a professional field and is financially stable,
Reveals a substantial and ongoing commitment to service beyond self, and
Cares deeply about the future of our young black boys.

As a Visible Man, you will:

Share your story of success with black boys through the VM Success Network

As a Visible Man, you may also:

Be a role model and mentor for black boys in your area through the inVision Project
Participate in local, regional, or national speaking campaigns to share your story with black boys
Start a blog on the VM Success Network to share your wisdom and insights with black boys

As a potential role model for black boys, your involvement in this movement is critical. To be considered as a Visible Man, you must agree to the Statement of Character below and consent to a background check. In order to perform a thorough background check, we ask for traditionally-private information, like your Social Security Number, former employers, etc. To protect your privacy, this form is secure and encrypted and Visible Men will not disclose this information to any third party beyond what is necessary to conduct the background check. Your private information will never be sold.
